We disagree about the merits of Dalya Attar as LD41's State Senator. Aside from her real legal problem, she seems to be an enemy of church-state separation. In a past year, she pushed a bill that would have amounted to a subsidy of parental costs of transporting children to all religious schools in the state of Maryland. It wound up as a study of the subject and I don't know the result. But her intent was obvious. However her legal case turns out, I hope Malcolm Ruff soon becomes the Senator representing LD41 in Maryland.

Thank you Ken for taking the time to read and for taking the time to disagree. I can very much understand what you're talking about. I lived for a period of time up in Pennsylvania. The church state line of division was a constant battle far more so than it usually is in Maryland. I used to live in District 41 a few years ago. I spent a year as a consultant at Social Security so I lived down in Gwyn Oak. When Dalya ran for delegate the first time I voted for her. I voted for Jill Carter for Senate and George Mitchell for delegate and Dalya. I was very disappointed that George didn't get elected. He was a hell of a good guy and a dear friend. I can't think of who the third person I voted for was that year. I never met Malcolm Ruff but friends of mine tell me he's a good guy.
