Thank you, Barry, for a terrific look back at the good old days. A simpler time. I personally believe it is time to come back together and take a fresh look at the address the challenges facing Maryland’s craft beer industry.
I'm not disagreeing with you but I remember it slightly differently. They won big in 2018. Yes, they incensed the Annapolis machine who took away one of the offices from the comptroller's office. Then Foxwell resigned over another issue. Then Peter ran for governor. Peter got new people running his campaign and his strategist came up with a hair brain scheme of Peter. Being an institutionalist Progressive. Completely threw away everything Foxwell build over the years and came in third in the governors primary in 22. So same basic result as you're talking about but without Len Peter was lost.
I'm a romantic at heart so I see this as very close to the plot of Camelot. Arthur is the wise King assembles the knights of the round table. They do great things! Lancelot falls for Guinevere and everything goes to hell and Arthur loses out at the end. Except with Peter and Len, the girl's name wasn't Guinevere.

Absolutely, I think it is time.
And the ultimate results: Franchot so incensed the Legislators that he lost control of Alcohol, Tobacco and Cannabis; Fired Foxwell; Lost the Primary.
