<<Their narrative hinges on a single whistleblower dispute inside DHS, inflated into a statewide scandal with no evidence that Moore ordered, knew about, or benefited from anything improper.>>
Sounds like pretext. It was alleged that fraud involving federal monies was taking place in MN before the surge of federal agents into Minneapolis.
David Smith owns the Baltimore Sun and runs Fox, 45 news and a huge chain of extremely conservative TV stations across the country. He's always been Republican. He shifted further to the right ever since he got picked up by the police with a street prostitute. So he instructs his Maryland media to take a hard line on the governor and Democrats. I actually like the Baltimore Sun. I can always tell whether the story was written as David's suggestion to get the Democrats or whether they're doing straight news. Baltimore Banner competes against them and it's got its own biases that show. But as long as David Smith is going to back up the freedom caucus and every accusation they make it becomes a cycle where they make accusations Baltimore Sun and Fox 45 report it and they get contributions and become more well-known. So it's a cycle.
