That's a little high, but we've seen a lot of mainstream presidents over the years who have lost a large number of seats in Congress. But it's not just Congress, the midterm jenks or the out of party wave. Whatever you want to call it or think of. It is a real phenomena for more than 100 years. One of the things that makes this worse is the president is at unprecedented low approval ratings across a broad number of subjects. But that doesn't make people vote Democratic. That makes Republicans stay home. So it looks like there's more votes for Democrats, but a lot of it is less votes for Republicans by people who say the hell with this, I'm sick of all of them.
