The freedom caucus is a cancer on the Republican party. It grows inside the party but it's destructive. It sucks the life out of it. It cripples it much like cancer does to a human body. Take for instance a good solid Republican legislator who's got a reputation for getting things done, Kevin Hornberger. The sickos in the freedom caucus decided to go after a good solid Republican because they didn't think he was as ridiculously conservative obstructionist isolationist as they were. Now if you would ask. Kevin, a question. I'd love to hear the answer after he got attacked by the freedom caucus. Is he happy to give up his seat to protect the head? Freedom caucus guy Andy Harris. Aren't all of the Republicans in effect offering to give up their own seats to the evil Freedom Caucus to protect Andy. I wonder why anybody active and Republican politics would support a group of people who are detrimental to the Republican Party. There's no chance that the freedom caucus will ever elect a governor. They'll never win a statewide office as long as the freedom caucus is pushing the Republican party into obscurity. Face it the Freedom Caucus is evil.

I'm getting word from a number of Republicans who are saying many delegates and senators will go through the motions of opposing redistricting. But won't really be opposing it strongly and they'll just pretend to so that they can get reelected. But I'm told that many of them feel that if redistricting wins and Andy Harris ends up losing his seat, it would be better for the Republican party.

You're not suggesting that the Maryland House and Senate GOP Caucuses are planning on intentionally sacrificing any future Congressional Republican seat by laying down during Special Session just to own the Freedom Caucus, are you?
