Nine Seats Gone From the Hospital Lobby
The new lobbying year started November 1, and I spent tonight doing the kind of drudge work nobody in this business does for fun: I took the hospital systems’ new registrations and checked every one against last year’s, pair by pair. Twenty filings.
Here’s the headline. Every firm kept its client. But nine lobbyists didn’t come back. CareFirst went from eleven registered lobbyists to seven. Adventist HealthCare went from seven to five. Luminis Health went from seven to four.
