You had to know someone was going to make the tie: so I’ll bite. Boafo is an Oracle lobbyist vying for a corporation on data centers while serving in the state government and now is running to service in congress where he still is actively lobbying for Oracle. Not only that, but also has stock in Oracle. Plus, he also has gotten hundreds of thousands of dollars in ads and mailers from a large tech corporation PAC.

The similarities are too much to bear between Boafo and Nash where they blur the line between government and moneyed interests. Just one is actively in office and the other is currently campaigning. How do you square this? This is the same cronyism that I am bashing Boafo on. The governments of our country need to be based on trust in people, we cannot trust Boafo or Nash.

SUPERB. ANOTHER IRONY OF DEMOCRACY........ most local events and politics are so under the radar, despite the premise we are "closer" to them, that abuses and corruption go unnoticed unless there is a brave soul to reveal it......local media and investigative reporting, alas, is a joke mostly. Best places to hide? State legislatures and county councils......
