Reporters’ Roundtable: A Thoughtful Conversation Across the Region
I had the pleasure of joining Harold Fisher on his Reporters’ Roundtable recently, and it was a genuinely enjoyable and substantive conversation.
The panel included Tracee Wilkins, NBC4’s outstanding investigative reporter, and Micha Green, Managing Editor of The Washington Informer. Both are consummate professionals. Sharp, well-prepared, and deeply grounded in the communities they cover. It was a privilege to share the table with them.
While we did not get as deeply into the Black wealth gap in Washington, DC as I would have liked, the discussion ranged widely across the region’s most pressing issues, from government shutdown anxieties and social media accountability to data centers, development pressures, and the broader policy forces shaping the DMV.
Credit to Harold Fisher for creating a space that values analysis over noise and substance over shouting. These are the kinds of conversations the region needs more of.
