If you live in this area, what you learn is that this kind of behavior isn't new. I've lived in this area over 30 years...I have see all the politics....this aint new...it just exposed. The last state senator had a lot of issues with the frum city councilman...who too..by my estimation is equally as shady as she is...he and his Hitman have yet to be caught...but hopefully they will ...and maybe fairness and honesty will prevail in this democracy once again.
Innocent until proven guilty. I’ve observed over many years, that it’s the rare case where accusations are totally unfounded. It’s not really a matter of guilt or innocence especially when you’re a public servant.
I hope she has been falsely accused or can prove that she was coerced into doing whatever she did. Maryland politics is a dirty game.

Let’s see what develops. At least as reported, it doesn’t seem like the case is dependent on the testimony of the person characterized as the accuser.

A grand jury of Maryland citizens indicted her. There has to be a finding of probable cause for a grand jury to issue an indictment.
