No one came to my father's funeral except my mother and my brothers and sisters. Not a cousin or a friend or a neighbor. No one absolutely no one. Of course he was buried during the great blizzard 1992 and to get to the cemetery the funeral procession was led by a snow plow. So I'll never know how many would have shown up for my dad's funeral if the roads were dry and the weather was good. But the only thing that really matters is I loved him and he loved me.
