Eddie Pounds, unintentionally sharing a nickname with Sexyy Red’s viral song, “Pound Town,” though his version plays out in Annapolis lobbying circles.

From Perry Jacobson to PoundTown: Tracking Eddie Pounds Through 12 Years of Lobbying Shakeups

I was working on a story about the relationship between Perry Jacobson and Blended Public Affairs when I got a call from one of my favorite sources. So I asked about Perry Jacobson. Next thing you know, I'm hearing a story about Eddie Pounds. I never met Eddie and I didn't feel that comfortable with the story. We finally compromised. I would post the story with the understanding. It's not from me. It turned out that my contact did not want to use her name, so we agreed on the simple moniker “A Spurned Lover”.

Eddie Pounds has spent more than a decade moving through Maryland’s lobbying world, and Annapolis has never been shy about noticing. His path from O’Malley Miles to Funk and Bolton to PWRJ, and now to his own shop, has become part of the city’s political folklore.
