Don’t Close The Dickerson Incinerator

The Montgomery County Council votes, tentatively, on November 10, on two resolutions that point in opposite directions: refurbish the Dickerson incinerator and keep it running, or close it and haul the county's trash to out-of-county landfills. I am for keeping it open. And I am going to make the case on the other side's own ground, because the environmental-justice argument for closing it collapses on its own arithmetic.
