I am not anti- Semantic but how can I stand with Isreal when children and people in Gaza are dying everyday. The inhumane treatment of Palestinians is--!

I think the prime Minister should be subject to war crimes trials. I don't support the random or strategic killings of individuals in Palestine, particularly in Gaza. However, to deny Israel, the right to exist would be anti-semitic. It's acceptable to want to see netanyahu prosecuted for war crimes that's not anti-Semitic. But when you then want to deny the right of Israel to exist, that becomes the real problem. It's much is the same as my circumstance with the United States. I love America and I deeply respect America and I want America to go on and I wish Donald Trump were not our president and I wish ICE would stop killing innocent people. You see you could do both things you could love America and object to ice and Trump. So we ought to be able to do the same with Israel

See the comment karemm and you have all of the information that you need to know regarding the interview and the lack of discussion about the Jewish community that supported Van Hollen. Its really simple - the Jews will vote for him regardless if it is their own best interest or not. See a smart politician will have already assesed this - just looking at NY for example you might have thought that not a single vote would have been cast for the Muslim but about 30% of the votes cast came from the Jews. Crazy right? So why both with them - they will fund his next campaign no matter the level and why pain and suffering become their lot they will look to heavens and cry out "Why us Lord we were so nice to them" ... Just before the canisters drop!

As a lifelong democrat, I support Van Hollen's decision to stop taking money from donors backing Israel. What Netanyahu has done in Gaza goes way beyond fighting Hamas. Hamas is a horrible terrorist group, but the killing tens of thousands innocent citizens is not the appropriate response. I believe there should be no foreign influence in our politics. Overturn Citizens United.

PS. Disagreeing with Israel's war in Gaza, and now Lebanon is not antisemitic. It has nothing to do with religion.

Suggesting a congressional Candidate should not accept help or support from Jews is Anti-Semetic.

I'm suggesting that we not support what is being done in Gaza. Politicians who take money from those who support what is being done by Israel are indebted to them. I also think they shouldn't take money from Russion supporters because of Russias war. By calling me antisemitic, you diminish the murders being committed by foreign governments. I usually agree with and respect what you write, but on this, I disagree.

Barry: You have written a masterclass in dealing with two phonies with the same hatchet; they both deserved and have been in need of being administered for years. Good work.

I like Josh Kurtz. This is nothing personal against him but I think you understand what I'm talking about. It's like interviewing somebody and asking questions like so please tell me how it feels to be so wonderful everyday. Do you ever get frustrated that you have to be so absolutely incredible all the time? Maybe the questions weren't quite that bad but they weren't far off. They weren't honest or fair. They weren't asking what the readers wanted to hear. They were meant to make Chris sound good and that's not the reporter's job.
