The article references a tape. What tape?? This should be linked in the article. The reader should not have to Google it to understand 1) what’s happening and 2) understand why the article was published. Not everyone who comes across this story or receives it in an email notification will be familiar with it - such as myself. Consider updating the story to include the link.

Given its proximity alongside adjacent Delaware and I95 connector placing it squarely between the 6th and 7th largest cities in the country, the provincialism, racism, and misogyny is somewhat surprising, but illustrates the overall provincialism of the state, once you get outside the DC adjacent counties.

I argue that erasing economic boundaries: rural vs urban, and supporting the small business sector in 18 counties would go a long way to balancing the outright hostility and posture of the old boy’s club.
