I want to know what pictures of a woman in a bikini on a vacation have to do with anything?

This reads less informative and more hit piece.

Disappointing. I see no numbers tied to your post. Focus on the numbers or lose credibility.

To Elle’s point…the numbers are there if you look close enough. Feel free to pull up CB-57-2026 and just browse Appendix A. The Council cut $8M from the Watkins Park Police Substation project and $8.4M from the Planning Dept to increase the money it’s sending to itself. That’s just on Page 3. The Commissioners Office was cut by almost half of their current year budget, which you could expect to require layoffs. And that’s before you look at the $21M moving from Parks & Rec to the Council (page 11). Check out what’s in CR-58-2026 (Attachment A) to get the details.

That’s to say that there’s plenty to chew on in the numbers without personal attacks.

Erlrv,

100%. Until I can get this level of writing from a so-called ‘reporter,’ it reads as a hit piece.

Thank you very much for elevating the subject.

Barry, by now people know you are extremely biased, opinionated, and promoting council members Jolene Ivey and Sydney Harrison, while trying to throw Council Chair Krystal Oriadha under the bus for inheriting problems from previous council leadership and those you are aggrandizing. Krystal Oriadha is the only council member to go on record and stand with the people against hyper-scale date centers, while those you are putting on a pedestal have a history of promoting data centers and ignoring the will of the people on this issue. I believe people can see you are using your writing to steer voters to elect those you want elected. Are you proud of yourself for suggesting that the Chair of the Prince George's County Council is dumb? Is this your best moment?

Well, of course, this is what comes of one party rule and zero accountability.....then again, Maryland politicians can always blame Trump, the GOP, play the race card and as a last resort claim critics are all wrong....whether you sir are biased or opinionated, right or wrong, at least you care enough to write about the county in great depth and with clarity and focus, if not passion........why the hell dont you run???? Oh, right, you have ethics.....the Chair of the PG Council, like most Maryland or national Democrats, are very poor fiscal stewards......(I left out Covid as an excuse......)
